Social-housing window replacement, Lewisham
A live programme replacing windows in occupied homes across the London Borough of Lewisham, for a tier-one main contractor on behalf of a major London housing association.
Four hundred homes, one standard
The programme covers around 400 occupied homes across the London Borough of Lewisham, a mix of street properties and flats in blocks.
The challenge
Every address is different: different openings, different access, different residents. Some flats needed planning applications before work could start, and every home stays lived-in throughout.
How we run it
- A survey check sheet for every address, sizes, opening types, access and design checked before anything is ordered
- Planning information prepared per address where flats need permission
- Works orders reconciled against the contract rate card, address by address
- Installs coordinated with the main contractor's resident liaison officer
- A signed completion sheet with photos for every home, plus FENSA notification
- A live register that rolls each address up to a building-level view
We'll publish the client names, photos and a resident testimonial here once we have their written permission. References are available to main contractors and housing providers on request.
